About the event

We’re looking for walkers, hikers, nature lovers, photo bugs… to join the Ridge Rover Volunteers. Enjoy our program with a bag of popcorn!

1 PM  Sharpen your focus on nature’s sights and sounds for a richer experience outdoors. Environmental writer, photographer, and educator Rob Kanter will show you how – and share photography tips!

2 PM  Learn how you can help protect Warbler Ridge as a Ridge Rover Volunteer. Adopt a route to visit twice a month, providing updates and photos.

2:45 PM  Enjoy a Wildflower Walk with retired EIU professor Nancy Coutant, visit with Grand Prairie Friends, or explore on your own!

Share your Warbler Ridge Photos: We’ll display your favorite shots at the event. Send up to five jpegs to volunteer@grandprairiefriends.org.

This is an outdoor event and Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place. Registration required so we can manage the size of the gathering.
