About the event
Our volunteers make our world go around, so to say thank you, we would like to invite you on a float trip “around the bend!” Join Grand Prairie Friends staff for a guided tour on canoes and kayaks to see the beautiful, newly acquired Warbler Bend from the water. We will meet at Warbler Crossing and carpool over to Warbler Bluff to load the boats. Our ending point will be at Lake Charleston, and then we’ll take a quick walk back to Warbler Crossing to enjoy some food and chatter. Limited spots are available for those who do not have a kayak/canoe, so if you have one, please bring it! Wear breathable clothing and sunscreen.
If you would prefer to keep your feet on dry ground, you can meet us at Warbler Crossing at 4pm to join in on the mingling and refreshments.
