Volunteer Appreciation: Flex Your Citizen Science Mussels

Grand Prairie Friends wouldn't be able to preserve and protect land without our amazing volunteers! If you've helped us out in any way over the past year, this party is for you!

We are celebrating with a picnic and what our volunteers love best- some time in nature! Bruce Colravy from Illinois RiverWatch will be teaching us all about mussel grubbing.

So get ready to get in the river and get messy! Wear tall boots or shoes and clothes you don't mind getting wet (and bring a spare for after!) See you then!
