About the event
Ready to get outdoors, enjoy the beauty of Warbler Ridge, and help preserve and protect land all at the same time? Join GPF land staff and volunteers to do some hands-on stewardship work, such as invasive species removal.
This is the perfect introduction to stewardship work and GPF. Newbies are welcome! Tools and training are provided. Please wear appropriate clothing – long pants and shirt, work shoes and gloves. Bug spray and suntan lotion recommended based on the season.
This month, we will be removing woody invasive plants in Warbler Bottoms North on the eastern boundary (this is different than removing volunteer trees in the tree plantings). Please park along the side of the road where you see the GPF vehicles stationed.
