About the event
Help us remove this invasive at Shortline Railroad Prairie while enjoying the variety of prairie plants found here. We will meet at 2970 County Rd 2400 E, Gifford, IL.
Directions: In Rantoul, head east on US 136 past Gifford. South on 2400E for .5 mi. Prairie on left, park by gate.
Carpooling: We will carpool from Farm and Fleet, Urbana, IL. Depart at 8:25am from the southwest corner of the lot.
What to Bring: Appropriate clothing – long pants and shirt, work shoes, and gloves - and bug spray. If you have a favorite tool, bring it. But tools will be available.
