About the event
Are you ready to protect the prairies? Become a Prairie Rover! Join Grand Prairie Friends Natural Areas Technician Joey Piper the third Saturday of every month as he leads a stewardship workday at one of GPF”s northern prairie properties (to be announced on website ahead of time).
Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants and bring a water bottle and sun and bug protection. No experience is needed- bring a friend, enjoy the beautiful day on the prairie, and make a difference for our native lands!
This month, we will be removing sweet clover and parsnip at Shortline Railroad Prairie. Please wear long sleeves and long pants for best protection. See you there!
