About the event
This recently burned prairie is coming back to life quickly so it’s time to nip sweet clover in the bud before it comes back in full force. Tools will be provided to remove this invasive. No experience necessary! Experienced volunteers will show you the ropes.
And we can take time to identify the prairie plants if you are interested.
Dress: Wear long pants and shirt, gloves, hat, and sturdy shoes. Bring bug spray.
Directions: In Loda, turn left on Jefferson St. (210N) then right on Mulberry St. Follow signs to Pine Ridge Cemetery. Park on the road east of the cemetery and follow the mowed path NNE to the preserve.
