About the event
Wilson Montgomery (hwmontgo@gmail.com), Grand Prairie Friends volunteer and Warbler Ridge Champion, invites you to join him on the 3rd Saturday of every month to remove common woody invasive plants. Wilson is a very knowledgeable volunteer who loves to share the ecology and uniqueness of Warbler Ridge and will guide volunteers in identification of invasives and removal techniques.
No experience necessary. New volunteers can be paired with experienced ones. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, and gloves. Tools will be provided.
Volunteers will gather along E County Road 550N to remove trees in Warbler Bottoms. Event signage will also be visible.
If there is a weather cancellation (will be communicated ASAP to those who RSVP), IST will be postponed to the next Saturday (May 24), same time and place.
