Discover the remarkable plant life of Warbler Ridge Conservation Area with Grand Prairie Friends Champion Volunteer Nancy Coutant at the Mattoon Public Library.

Spanning more than 1,300 acres, Warbler Ridge is one of Coles County's most diverse natural areas, providing vital habitat for a wide variety of native plants and wildlife. Nancy will highlight some of the unique and beautiful flora that make this conservation area so special and explain why protecting these native species is important.

Join us on Saturday, August 29, at 9:30 a.m. to learn about the fascinating plants growing right here in your local natural area.
