Warbler Crossing, 17487 Bypass Rd, Charleston, IL 61920, USA

About the event

Meet at GPF's newly acquired 14-acre property, Warbler Crossing, near the corner of Bypass Rd and CORD 550N.

We plan to drag and burn brush resulting from the installation of an electronic deer fence.  Jeff Peyton will explain the why, what, and how of this installation.

Directions: Take Route 130 south from Charleston for about 2 miles to Bypass Rd.  Turn right on Bypass Rd and cross the stone bridge.  Then turn left in the first driveway after the bridge.   If you miss the driveway, the next road you will see is 550N on the right.

What to Bring: Appropriate clothing – long pants and shirt, work shoes, and gloves.  Tools will be available.

Covid 19 Adaptations: social distancing, masks, and no organized carpooling from C-U.

Cancellations:  Weather cancellations will be announced on Facebook and through email to those who RSVP.
